2010 BRL SEASON OVERVIEW
The Red Robin Marty Nothstein Bicycle Racing League Fall season begins September 8th with a week of introductory safety and skill classes for all new riders. These classes are mandatory for all new riders and must be completed to be eligible to participate in team practices. Riders with limited experience or those in need of a refresher after a long winter of indoor training may attend the introductory classes, if desired.
Starting September 8th each team will practice twice a week for two weeks, followed by a round-robin format of racing that will pit all teams against each other. Each team will race a minimum of twice over the full season and riders will earn individual and team points at each race. These points will help determine the individual and overall team championships. The regular season concludes with the BRL Team Championships on October 29, 2010. All teams qualify for the Team Championships and awards will be presented at the end of the night’s events. There are awards for Team Standing and Individual season standing.
